When you need to decide an order

Why random can still mean fair
The order is decided with the same deterministic randomness as an amidakuji ladder lottery. There's no room to skew how the lines are drawn, and no one knows who gets which spot until you draw.

How it differs from rock-paper-scissors or paper lots
